Sometimes I Read My Comments and Just… Stare at the Screen
I’m not even gonna lie to y’all — sometimes I go into my comment section, read what people wrote, and I just sit there like… are we okay as a society? Because some of these takes are not disagreements, they are full-blown emotional releases. And the confidence be loud too. Real loud.
And look, I’m all for debate. That’s sports. That’s fandom. That’s half the fun of talking about basketball. But some comments aren’t even about basketball anymore. They’re just… vibes. Feelings. Rivalry rage. Personal frustration. Somebody having a bad Tuesday and deciding my video was the place to unpack it.
So instead of getting annoyed, I finally decided to do what I should’ve been doing a long time ago: laugh. Because when you really sit with some of these comments, you realize they are unintentionally hilarious. Not because people disagree — that’s normal — but because of how they disagree. The leaps. The drama. The “you’re delusional because you forgot to say one team’s name” type of logic. Like… we not even talking hoops anymore, we talking emotions.
And that’s when it hit me — why not turn the comment section into content?
So this video is exactly that. The top troll comments. The wildest takes. The ones that made me pause, blink twice, and then say, “Yeah… this is definitely going in the episode.” Not to drag anybody, not to start internet beef, but because sometimes the only healthy response to nonsense is comedy.
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s really like being a creator in women’s basketball — especially when you talk honestly about teams, officiating, conference styles, and narratives — this will give you a little peek behind the curtain. And if you’ve ever left a wild comment online… well… you might see yourself in here too.
All jokes, all laughs, and yes… we still talking basketball. Just with a little humor this time.
