Thankful
The First USC WBB Player Video Drops Tomorrow
Tomorrow, something special goes live: the first episode on my channel featuring current players from USC Women’s Basketball — and it’s a moment I’ve been working toward for a long time.
Just a few months ago, I launched the USC Women’s Basketball Media Lab website to go alongside the USC Women’s Media Lab YouTube channel — both built from scratch, both driven by nothing more than passion. No sponsorships. No budget. Just a deep love for the game and a belief that these women deserve more storytelling, more visibility, and more joy.
Since launching, I’ve broken down film, hosted podcasts with Trojan Wire’s Matt Zemeck, interviewed coaches on my Let’s Talk USC WBB podcast, and created fun, out-of-the-box videos — like ranking guards and post players across the Big Ten, or comparing USC players to superheroes. On the website, I’ve written editorials about player journeys, team growth, and the changing landscape of women’s basketball.
And now, this video.
It’s light-hearted. It’s fun. It’s USC players being themselves. And it’s the kind of content I’ve always wanted to create — content that brings fans closer to the team beyond what happens on the court.
I’m truly thankful to everyone involved with the USC Women’s Basketball program — for trusting me, for coming on the podcast, and for allowing space for this kind of creative work to happen.
This is my passion. It’s a hobby. And I absolutely love it.
I’m just thankful to be doing the creative work I get to do — and I hope this is only the beginning.
📺 The video drops tomorrow at 11am! Make sure you head on over to my YouTube channel to watch and learn more about my channel if you haven’t already!
